Hi there! My name is Asia Monae, and I am currently pursuing a major in biomedical sciences intending to become an anesthesiologist.
Beyond academics, I play rugby for the University of Mary Washington where I also serve as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) representative for my team. My position is the wing and I absolutely love the game.
I am an ambassador for the Student Transition Access Services (STARS) program, which provides resources for minorities and first-generation students ensuring they have the support system to continue their education.
